Happy St. Patrick's Day

Kevin's mom has always had something green for breakfast on St. Patrick's day whether is was pancakes, milk, etc. I had planned on keeping the tradition in the family and I thought it'd make things fun for us. Well, I have to be up and out the door everyday at 7am and it usually involves rushing around. Of course my plan did not work out and I had no time to create something edible and green. So I did it this morning.
This year.... green eggs and grits with biskets.

Yuck, can you believe we ate that?

  1. Thanks for carrying on the tradition. Dad made green pancakes for seminary this year.

  2. I've often thought of doing stuff like that for my kids on different holidays, but it might be difficult for me to actually eat my creations...haha Maybe when it's my time, I'll just stick with foods that are already that color...
